Developed, maintained, evaluated, implemented and enhanced curricular and extracurricular programs to relect student achievement and growth; provided leadership for the planning, development and implementation of the school's curriculum; manage the recruitment and hiring of staff; select and assign staff in-service programs; astutely observe staff and faculty performance, document observations, and conduct evaluation conferences; compile annual budget and manage accounts payable and receivables; produce financial reports for internal and external review; developed a student discipline management system; perform safety inspections, review emergency procedures and provide regular drills for emergencies.

Key Results

• Led school board and faculty through the accreditation process to obtain ACSI K-8 accreditation within a two year timeframe. 
• Completed the permitting process to obtain a preshool license from the State of Texas. 
• Gained membership into the National University Model School organization.
• Improved the financial position of the school from a deficit 2004 to a net profit of $118,000 in 2008. 
• Managed a $850,000 gross revenue budget while being responsible for all aspects of growth and expense.
• Increased student size from 64 students in 2004 to 178 students in 2008
• Increased faculty size from 8 teachers/2 staff in 2004 to 18 teachers/4 staff in 2008
• Relocated school from a 7000 sq ft lease facility to a 10 acre, 17,000 sq ft facility owned by the school. 
• Negotiated with city and county officials regarding building codes, traffic issues, fire codes, and draining issues.
• Managed all fundraising activities for the school.  Transferred fundraising revenue from operating expense to capital reserve. 
• Secured private donations to establish a scholarship program.
